Duplessis to present art exhibition on privilege in Thornton on January 19

Thornton, Colorado - Nationally recognized artist, culture bearer and historian Chloé Duplessis will present Blind Spot on Thursday, January 19th at Oz Gallery in Thornton.


Blind Spot will feature 20 works of thought provoking collage and fabric art that center history, accessibility and privilege.


Duplessis is the creator of Denver's first accessible "I VOTED" sticker and co - creator of the noted Holding Hope mural located in RiNo Art District


She is known for creating art and immersive experiences that illuminate the social constructs oppressing people of color and those navigating disability, and has traveled to 9 countries and 24 states in support of her work. 


The opening reception for Blind Spot will take place from 6 - 8 pm on Thursday, January 19th,  at the Oz Gallery located at 9209 Dorothy Boulevard in Thornton,  Colorado.  This event is free and open to the public. 


Blind Spot runs through March 24, 2023.
